Graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science in Accountancy from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England and then furthered his education with a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from City University, London, England.

He has extensive experience in Corporate Finance, Corporate Planning, Business Development and day-to-day management. He was the key person in the corporate restructuring exercise that involved capital reduction, debt restructuring, debt waiver and settlement of the then financially distressed United Chemical Industries Berhad. This was followed by the recapitalisation and transfer into a new holding company Majuperak Holdings Berhad that took over the listing status on Bursa Malaysia. In addition, he successfully headed the expansion of business into new ventures for Majuperak Holdings Berhad.

He is presently the Chief Operating Officer of the Petra Perintis Sdn Bhd Group and is also a Director of several private companies.
